Telecommuting

Many businesses now allow employees to telecommute, at least occasionally. Telecommuting even one day every two weeks could reduce your travel by 10 percent. This could save you time and money!

In some cases, telecommuting can improve productivity. Some people may have fewer distractions at home than at work. Sometimes, it’s good to work in a different environment to develop new ideas. The extra rest an employee could get by sleeping-in rather than commuting might help them focus.
